WINTER 2022/2023


Description: Through improvisation, writing, and scene work, students will develop monologues and scenes using material and stories from their own lives! The class will also learn how to interact in a performance ensemble, and further refine acting and movement skills. Students will create a series of pieces that highlight each student’s personal narrative that will be shared with families and friends at the conclusion of the session!

Tuition: $140, with $15 registration fee

Teaching Artists

ANNA RICCIUTI

Anna Ricciuti is a director, teaching artist, and technician who prioritizes new, innovative, and socially driven work and strives to create meaningful theatrical experiences for students of all ages. As a Connecticut native, she is absolutely thrilled to be joining the team at Playhouse on Park. Anna holds a BA in theatre from Muhlenberg College and her theatrical skills are diverse and varied. Some favorite recent credits include: THE REPAIR MAN (director, Muhlenberg College, 2018), ALICE IN CONCERT (production stage manager, Desultory Theatre Club, 2019), SOME GOOD TUNES (technical director, Simsbury Summer Theatre, 2020), and PIPPIN (director, Simsbury High School, 2022).
