Description: Young actors and actresses will explore creative play and storytelling through children’s books. Exercises and games will focus on acting techniques, storytelling, puppetry, creating characters and fun team-building games. Perfect for budding performers or those who participated in A is for Acting in the Fall! Participants will receive a copy of the book!

Description: In this class students will continue to learn and develop personal understanding of playing an action, being in the moment, listening and responding to stage partners, and other advanced fundamentals of acting through a variety of fun exercises, improvisations and scene work.

HEIDI JEAN WEINRICHhas been working in theatre for decades as an actor at Playhouse on Park and many other theatres in CT, Seattle, and New York. She also has directing experience and has taught Language Arts on the secondary and college levels. As a Teaching Artist she has worked with New Britain Youth Theatre, Hartford Performs, and other organizations, and this past summer she was the Drama Instructor at Auerfarm Summer Camp in Bloomfield.
